Our slogan for our business is “Meeting a Need,” and this couldn’t be more true than with our eczema lotion bar. When our daughter was two, she had horrible eczema, and nothing we tried seemed to help. Frustrated, I started experimenting with different oils and finally came up with a recipe that relieves her eczema symptoms and helps prevent an eczema rash from even breaking out. One of the many great things about this lotion bar is that it doesn’t contain any chemicals, so you can use it on your little one without hesitation. Not only can you use this lotion bar for eczema, it can also be used on irritated skin to help calm and soothe it. The name was inspired by my nephew. He gets horrible rashes, and when he feels one coming on, he asks his mother for “Auntie Sarah’s magic medicine.” Out of the mouths of babes . . .

100% Natural Ingredients: Beeswax (Cera alba), cocoa butter (Theobroma cacao), coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis), primrose oil (Oenothera biennis L.), avocado oil (Persea gratissima), rose hip seed oil (Rosa moschata), vitamin E (tocopherol), and a blend of pure essential oils picked to help treat skin irritations.
*Rose oil, one of the most expensive essential oils used in essential oil therapy, promotes new cell growth and has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and astringent properties. It is often used for aging, damaged, and sensitive skin. Rose oil is one of the most nontoxic oils and has been used both internally and externally for centuries (though we only use it externally). *Highly emollient, avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E, and thus is a nourishing oil for those with eczema and other sensitive skin issues. It helps prevent moisture evaporation by creating a protective barrier for the skin and is also an excellent oil for delivering essential oils into the skin, as it has good “spreadability.”

Use this balm to provide relief for sore, overused muscles and joints.
This product was created to help relieve the pain of sore muscles and joints by helping to decrease inflammation and increase circulation to the affected area. Not only can this balm be used before or after working out, it can also be used to alleviate everyday aches and pains. Ripped has provided relief for those suffering from symptoms of inflammation caused by arthritis and autoimmune diseases. It has also been used on sprained ankles and injured knees to bring the swelling down and provide comfort during the healing process. We get asked over and over again if Ripped actually works, and the truth is, it does; we wouldn’t sell it if it didn’t! It’s formulated without the use of menthol or wintergreen essential oil, so there isn’t the heating effect that most people are used to with similar products. However, we use several “warming” essential oils, so you’re getting the same relief without the burn.

*Arnica has been used throughout the ages to help heal bruises quicker and has helped aid healing with sprains. While safe to use on skin, it should not be used on broken skin. Rosemary, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils were chosen because of their ability to help with joint and muscle pain. *Because jojoba oil is so similar to our own sebum (moisturizing oils secreted by the skin), it is a wonderful base oil for natural skin care creams and lotions. Actually a liquid wax that is cold-pressed from jojoba seeds (which resemble coffee beans), it is cultivated in Arizona, California, Israel, and Mexico. Jojoba has anti-inflammatory and sunscreen properties.

This is our most versatile product and can be used year-round. Originally commissioned for a professional flower gardener’s dry and cracked hands, we have yet to find an individual who hasn’t been able to utilize the healing power of this cream. The thick, nourishing, and 100% natural cream’s blend of base oils, herbs, and essential oils provides relief for anyone who has extremely dry skin. For those who get dry, cracked heels, the Marshmallow-Marigold Cream has proven to be a lifesaver, providing healing and relief when other remedies have failed. In the cold Montana winters, I use it on my lips and on my children’s faces when they get chapped from playing outside. This cream is extremely emollient and the beeswax used in it helps provide a barrier to keep the nutrients of the cream soaking into your skin. Because this cream is so thick, only a small amount is needed. We recommend that you use way less than you think you need until you get accustomed to how this amazing cream works with your skin; after all, you can always use more if you need it!

*Marshmallow’s botanical name derives from the Greek altho, which means “to heal.” In ancient times, all parts of the marshmallow plant—flowers, leaves, and roots—were used medicinally, both externally and internally. You may be wondering if marshmallow root has anything to do with the modern-day sweet confections we roast over the campfire. Originally, the powdered root of the marshmallow was mixed with water and sugar to make a sweet paste that was used to soothe sore throats and treat coughs, among other uses, but the modern-day puffs by the same name have nothing in common with the original.
