This cream is especially useful to heal dry, cracked skin.
This is our most versatile product and can be used year-round. Originally commissioned for a professional flower gardener’s dry and cracked hands, we have yet to find an individual who hasn’t been able to utilize the healing power of this cream. The thick, nourishing, and 100% natural cream’s blend of base oils, herbs, and essential oils provides relief for anyone who has extremely dry skin. For those who get dry, cracked heels, the Marshmallow-Marigold Cream has proven to be a lifesaver, providing healing and relief when other remedies have failed. In the cold Montana winters, I use it on my lips and on my children’s faces when they get chapped from playing outside. This cream is extremely emollient and the beeswax used in it helps provide a barrier to keep the nutrients of the cream soaking into your skin. Because this cream is so thick, only a small amount is needed. We recommend that you use way less than you think you need until you get accustomed to how this amazing cream works with your skin; after all, you can always use more if you need it!
Available in 2 oz. and 4 oz. BPA-free, American-made, eco-friendly, lightweight plastic jars.
Directions for use: Apply to the affected area as often as needed. For external use only.
100% Natural Ingredients: Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis), sweet almond oil (Prunus dulcis), beeswax (Cera alba), cocoa butter (Theobroma cacao), marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis), marigold (Tagetes), primrose oil (Oenothera biennis L.), vitamin E (tocopherol), benzoin, and a blend of pure essential oils.
*Beeswax is not only used in beauty products for its thickening properties, but also for its skin care benefits. It adds a protective barrier to skin while letting your skin breathe. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial properties, so it helps heal irritated skin, including wounds. Beeswax has humectant properties and is very emollient, so it helps keep your skin moisturized. The vitamin A that is found in beeswax helps keep skin soft and aids in cell reconstruction.
*Marshmallow’s botanical name derives from the Greek altho, which means “to heal.” In ancient times, all parts of the marshmallow plant—flowers, leaves, and roots—were used medicinally, both externally and internally. You may be wondering if marshmallow root has anything to do with the modern-day sweet confections we roast over the campfire. Originally, the powdered root of the marshmallow was mixed with water and sugar to make a sweet paste that was used to soothe sore throats and treat coughs, among other uses, but the modern-day puffs by the same name have nothing in common with the original.
Please note: Because essential oils are distilled from plants, some people may have an adverse reaction to some of them. Certain oils should be avoided by young children and/or pregnant women. By purchasing this product, the buyer assumes all responsibility for any adverse reactions it may cause.
