This sensuous blend will help get you in the mood and ignite the night!
We have used this blend of essential oils for a long time in massage oils, and it is also found in our Night of Romance Bath Bombs. Besides containing rose and jasmine oils (which are always affiliated with love and romance), this blend also includes sandalwood—an earthy, warm, spicy-scented oil—and ylang ylang, which has traditionally been used as an aphrodisiac.
Directions: Put 2-4 drops in a diffuser or warm bath to help set the romantic mood.
100% Natural Ingredients: Pure essential oils of lavender, sandalwood, and ylang ylang and rose and jasmine absolute.
× In her book Aromantics: Enhancing Romance, Love, and Sex with Nature’s Essential Oils by well-known aromatherapist Valerie Ann Worwood, ylang ylang is included in most oil blends for increasing or stimulating desire and for helping relieve tension and anxiety.
× Sandalwood is often associated with men because of its spicy, earthy scent. It is used in many men’s soaps and colognes and is also in oriental perfumes worldwide. Many aromatherapists use Australian-grown sandalwood oil these days because of its long history of sustainable harvest.
“Romance is the glamour that turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze.” —Carolyn Gold Heilbrun
“True love is a durable fire / In the mind ever burning.” —Sir Walter Raleigh
“Love doesn’t just sit there like a stone. It has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new." —Ursula K. Le Guin
“One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love.” ―Sophocles
